How the Feedback Tool works

What is the Feedback Tool?

The Feedback Tool is a small JavaScript widget built for website owners and webmasters. You embed it with a single line of code – whether you use WordPress, static HTML, or another system. Once the script is loaded, a subtle “Feedback” button appears automatically in the bottom-right corner. When visitors click it, a simple form opens with one text field: they type their feedback and submit. Every message is sent immediately to info@[your-domain] and also stored in our database. The domain is detected automatically from the page address – you don't need to pass it. No backend, no database on your side, no maintenance.

How to embed it

Copy the code below and paste it anywhere in your website’s HTML – ideally before the closing </body> tag. Replace “your-website.com” in the script URL (src=) with your actual domain (without https://). The script uses this domain to send every submission to info@[your-domain]. No configuration needed: paste, adjust the domain, and you’re done. The button appears automatically, the form is included, and we handle email delivery.

The tool was developed from the need to centrally collect user feedback and use it across multiple projects – without having to implement it anew in each project. This gave rise to the idea of a universal JavaScript widget.

At SEO Day, we focus not only on better rankings but also on how websites can be systematically improved. This feedback tool is part of that approach. It is currently available free of charge. Users who embed it now can continue to use it at no cost – as an early adopter benefit. We welcome your feedback and suggestions.
