Terms and Conditions / AGB – B2B PURCHASE

By purchasing a ticket for SEO-DAY, organized by SEO-DAY GmbH, you agree to the following terms and conditions. These terms govern registration, payment terms, cancellation, liability and data protection for all participants.

Scope & Contracting Party

  • These terms and conditions apply to all contracts between SEO-DAY GmbH and participants of SEO-DAY events.
  • Contracting party and invoice issuer is SEO-DAY GmbH, Stadionstraße 1, 50933 Cologne, Germany.
2.

Ticket Order & Contract Conclusion

  • Tickets are booked via the official booking channels on seo-day.de.
  • A contract is concluded once the order confirmation has been sent by e-mail.
3.

Payment Terms

  • The invoice amount is due immediately upon receipt of the invoice without deduction.
  • Accepted payment methods are shown during the booking process; all prices are subject to statutory VAT.
4.

Rebooking & Cancellation

  • Rebooking to a substitute participant is possible up to 48 hours before the event starts.
  • Cancellations are not possible. The full ticket price is due in any case.
5.

Scope of Ticket Services

  • On-site tickets include physical access to all booked event days, access to sessions, catering as per programme and conference materials.
  • Livestream tickets include digital access to all booked event days, access to sessions via livestream and digital conference materials. Catering is not included with livestream tickets.
  • Optional workshops or VIP services are only included if explicitly stated on the ticket.

Programme Changes

  • SEO-DAY GmbH reserves the right to make programme and speaker changes for organisational reasons.
  • Changes do not entitle participants to cancel if the overall character of the event is maintained.
7.

Liability

  • Liability of SEO-DAY GmbH is limited to intent and gross negligence; in cases of simple negligence only for breach of essential contractual obligations.
  • No liability is accepted for items brought by participants.
8.

Photo, Video & Audio Recordings

  • Photo, video and audio recordings may be made during the events.
  • By participating, visitors agree that recordings may be used for marketing purposes of SEO-DAY GmbH.
9.

Data Protection

  • Personal data is processed solely for contract fulfilment and event organisation in accordance with the privacy policy.
  • Legal basis and data subject rights are described in the privacy policy at https://seo-day.de/datenschutz.
10.

Postponement & Cancellation of the Event

  • SEO-DAY GmbH reserves the right to postpone or cancel the event for important reasons (e.g. force majeure, pandemic, official orders, unforeseeable circumstances).
  • If the event is postponed, the ticket remains valid for the new date. A refund is only possible if the participant cannot attend the new date and notifies SEO-DAY GmbH in writing within 14 days of the postponement announcement.
  • If the event is fully cancelled by SEO-DAY GmbH, the ticket price will be refunded in full. Further claims are excluded.
11.

House Rules & Code of Conduct

  • SEO-DAY GmbH reserves the right of house rules and may exclude participants for misconduct, disruption of the event or violations of these terms.
  • In case of exclusion there is no entitlement to a refund of the ticket price. SEO-DAY GmbH reserves the right to claim damages.
  • Participants undertake not to disrupt the event and to follow instructions from event staff.
12.

Technical Issues & Defect Liability

  • For technical issues with the livestream (e.g. outages, delays, quality problems) there is no entitlement to a refund if the event takes place in principle.
  • SEO-DAY GmbH endeavours to resolve technical issues promptly but does not guarantee uninterrupted transmission.
  • If the livestream fails completely for more than 50% of the event duration, a partial refund will be granted.
13.

Access Authorization & Identification

  • Access to the event is only possible with a valid ticket and after identification.
  • SEO-DAY GmbH reserves the right to set age restrictions or other access requirements.
  • In case of loss or theft of the ticket there is no entitlement to replacement or refund.
14.

Final Provisions

  • German law applies to the exclusion of the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. Place of performance and jurisdiction is Cologne, Germany, where legally permissible.
  • If individual clauses are invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions remains unaffected.
